  • France Gaggioli was born in France and grew up with a strong sensitivity to images, atmosphere and the quiet tensions within the natural world. Over the past two decades, she has lived across Asia — in China, Thailand and Singapore — moving through places where light, space and cultural contrasts shape daily experience. These shifts of environment, rhythm and perspective form the background of her artistic practice.

Her work develops through narrative abstraction. Rather than illustrating a scene, each painting holds fragments of experience — traces of landscapes, human presence and emotional states. Layers of texture and subtle colour fields create spaces that stand between memory and perception, inviting viewers to move through them as they would through a story without words.

The recurring themes in her practice revolve around fragility, resilience and the relationship between people and their surroundings. The paintings suggest both stillness and movement, echoing the way inner and outer worlds overlap.

France’s works have been exhibited internationally and are part of private and corporate collections in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.
