Artist CloseUp Interview

A published conversation on artistic process, emotion, and abstraction

Published in Artist CloseUp - January 2025

In January 2025, I was invited to share more about my practice in an interview with Artist CloseUp, a platform that highlights contemporary artists from around the world.

The conversation offered a moment to reflect on my visual language, emotional anchors, and the quiet dialogues within my abstract landscapes. I spoke about the role of silence, structure, and intuition in my work — as well as the importance of textures, color, and rhythm.

It also gave me space to articulate how living across different cultures has shaped my perception of space and composition, and how my background in fashion and design continues to influence the way I approach each canvas.

I’m thankful to the Artist CloseUp team for offering this space for introspection and dialogue.
