Somewhere in Between - Solo Exhibition
Transition and Connection
Reflecting on Somewhere in Between
In 2021, I had the privilege of presenting my solo exhibition Somewhere in Between at the Mercedes-Benz Showroom in Singapore. This unique showcase invited viewers to explore themes of transition, balance, and the connections that shape our perceptions of space and emotion.
The exhibition spanned three months, offering an intimate journey through a curated selection of my works. Each piece was designed to evoke introspection and a sense of movement, capturing the delicate interplay between the known and the unknown.
Highlights from the Exhibition
1. Themes of Transition
The artworks in Somewhere in Between explored the liminal spaces between light and shadow, stillness and motion. Through layered textures and dynamic compositions, each piece invited viewers to reflect on their own journeys of transformation.
2. A Unique Venue
The Mercedes-Benz Showroom provided a striking and unconventional setting, blending luxury, innovation, and creativity. The synergy between the space and the artworks created a distinctive atmosphere, enriching the viewer's experience.
3. Community Engagement
The extended duration of the exhibition allowed for meaningful interactions with visitors, including art collectors, enthusiasts, and passersby. Hearing their interpretations and reactions was a reminder of the power of art to resonate across diverse perspectives.
